How Do You Turn Raw Sea Moss Into Gel

You’ll need dry sea moss, water, and a blender to prepare it yourself. Then place the softened moss in a blender and blend until the gel is smooth. I simply mix 1-2 tablespoons of sea moss gel in half a gallon of water and use it to water my plants. You are right to say that there are several types of sea moss and, more importantly, they all have the same nutritional value.

I used to hang out with a large group of dreadlocks from Jamaica and Irish sea moss was a staple in their diets. Can you eat raw sea moss right after washing it, such as in a salad or just on a plate as a snack? The warmer waters of the Mid-Atlantic are home to sea moss (genus Gracilaria), which is also commonly referred to as “Irish sea moss”. The nutritional values seem to be the same, so it’s really just semantics. It’s made with nutrient-rich chia seeds, blueberries, and with the addition of sea moss, it’s incredibly nutritious and tastes amazing.

However, I use sea moss as a natural superfood to add to my daily diet, similar to moringa, maca, fucus and other superfoods. I used unsweetened coconut milk, I didn’t have almond milk, and 1 tablespoon of the powdered sea moss mix. You can always add fucus or elderberry to sea moss to increase its nutrients even more.
